Round #2 of the Trapani Pit Bike Race!

Round #2 of the Trapani Pit Bike Series was even Bigger and Better with 126 Entries.  Rainy skies held off again to give us a two moto format with a new track layout.  Mickey Kessler gave the track two new sections that separated the Men from the Boys. Thirty-one riders banged bars into the first turn in the Premiere Class. Keeping things to a tight points race,  Trapani Rider Jeff Roma took his XTREME CR2 to the front and came away with a perfect 1-1 for the overall.  Tony Roth went 2-2 for second overall making both riders tied in points for the Grand Prize at the end of the series.  Jeff Roma also won both motos in the Stock Plus class making it look easy, while Joel Dengler, Ben Firestone and Dave Peary battled for their positions.  Roma and Roth went at it again in the dash-for-cash but this time Roma came up just short as Roth took the win.  Matt Burnett returned for round 2  in the 7-15 Mod Class but this time pulled a 2-1 for the overall win.  The 7-15 Stock Plus had Michael Giovanniello win the first Moto but Ronnie Stewart pulled off the overall with a 4-1 score. The track will always be different to keep it interesting.  Some nights it may be tight and slow and some may be open and fast.  We did use a third portable light this time to aid in lighting the track and we are working on getting even more lighting out there for the next race. We hope everyone had a great time because that is what it's all about, FUN! Thanks to Dragon, ishock and BBR for supplying the overall winners with great prizes.
